Hello!

Thank you for visiting! My name is Sunnie Rushton and I am a hairstylist. I was originally based in Salt Lake City, Utah, but have recently relocated to NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE!

I’ve been asked before if I was “born with scissors in my hands” and the truth is… I basically was. I am a second generation hairstylist and anyone who has a stylist for a parent knows you start early! Although I contemplated really hard about law school, the second I stepped foot into a beauty school, I knew this is exactly where I belong. I have been licensed and working in a salon setting for over 10 years now. 

This industry has already provided me with so many amazing opportunities. Aside from being behind the chair for 10 years, I have educated for ColorProof Color Care Authority for 3 years in and 2 countries. I have been a part of numerous weddings, fashion events, photo shoots, workshops, and trade events. I have assisted industry icons, such as Phillip Wilson, in cutting classes and trend photo shoots. I’ve also been very blessed and have received several really cool mentions, publications and social media shoutouts in Cosmopolitan, Beauty Launchpad, Modern Salon, Cosmo Prof, Rock n’ Roll Bride, Utah Bridal Blog, and many more. 

I love to stay updated on hair and fashion trends, and receive education often. Although I try to keep myself as well rounded as possible, I feel my strong points lie in styling and cutting.
